Hartford, CT – Diggs Construction, LLC recently announced three new projects.
The Town of Hamden, Connecticut awarded Diggs Construction, LLC to serve as the Owner’s Construction
Consultant (OCC). Diggs Construction will provide OCC and CPA services over a period of 18 months for the construction of the Memorial Town Hall and Police Headquarters project. Jennifer Frank has been selected for the OCC position and Joseph DeSanti as Executive Support. The total project cost is $37.5 million.
Also, as part of the West Rock development program for the Housing Authority of the City of New Haven, CT, a new residential community, both rental and homeownership, will be created
consisting of 433 newly constructed dwelling units. Kyma Harrison is serving as Construction Monitor for the Brookside Homeownership and Brookside Rental Phase 1 portions of the program with budgets of $30 million and $4.8 million respectively. Joseph DeSanti will be serving as Executive Support.
Also in the works is a new 6,000 sf facility for American Renal Dialysis is located in a Medical Park off I-691 in Meriden CT. The 2,700 sf Treatment Room has twelve treatment stations, and one Isolation room to treat patients with contagious diseases. Part of the clinic is a Peritoneal Dialysis training room and Home Hemo Dialysis training room to serve patient with their at home dialysis needs. Every patient station has the comforts of a heated reclining massage chair, private television with satellite radio and internet. There are
Medication Prep, Lab, Soiled Utility and Home Training Rooms supporting the patient treatment room. The heart of the Dialysis Center is the 300 sf Water Treatment Room that included a sophisticated Reverse Osmosis system that delivers high quality pure water for each patient station on the treatment floor along with several loops that distribute medications. The facility has a new fire protection sprinkler system, an electrical service, a fire alarm system and an emergency generator system to power the entire space.
