Dietz & Co. Welcomes Two

Springfield, Mass – Dietz & Company Architects recently announced two additions to the firm. (Haley Hardwick-Witman and Marcho Crescentini). Marco Crescentini, AIA, LEED AP, has been added to the firm Senior Architect. He earned both his Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Architecture degrees from the University of Virginia.

Springfield, Mass – Dietz & Company Architects recently announced two additions to the firm.  (Haley Hardwick-Witman and Marco Crescentini).   Marco Crescentini, AIA, LEED AP,  has been added to the firm Senior Architect. He earned both his Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Architecture degrees from the University of Virginia.

Since joining the firm, Marco has been involved in the firm’s Chapin School Veteran’s Housing and Park West Apartments projects. His approach is to carefully listen to a client’s needs, interpret dreams, and give physical form to a solution that solves people’s problems. He works together with the client, using each other’s strengths to make the world, big and small, a better place.

A project Marco enjoyed working on in his previous position was Maple Glen, a 17-unit guest house that is part of the Red Lion Inn in historic Stockbridge, MA. He also worked on a number of private residential projects, including a sophisticated conservatory for an historic property in Lenox. He worked on a few commercial projects such as an accessibility access design for the Norman Rockwell Studio in Stockbridge and facility work for Eisner Camp in Great Barrington. While living in Italy, Marco focused on a number of urban design projects including the Macerata Urban Design Plan in Macerata and the Corpola Town Plan Expansion in Rimini.

Haley Hardwick-Witman was also added to the  team as Architectural Associate. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst in 2011 with a BFA in  Architecture+Design, Concentration in Sustainable Design. She has received the LEED Green Associates certification.

Since joining the firm, Haley has been working on Parsons Village in Easthampton  which has the potential for being a Net Zero Energy project. She is also working on the North Adams Conte Elementary School project which involves a complete renovation of the existing historic Conte School to serve grades K-7.

Prior to these projects with the firm, she worked on schools, a sustainable living community and small structures utilizing post and beam construction. Haley has interests that relate to an appreciation for the natural environment as well as a creative approach to finding design solutions. She has participated as a volunteer in several Habitat for Humanity builds.
