Williston, VT – DEW Construction was recently notified that the company made Engineering News Record’s Top 400 Contractors list for 2011. ENR, a national trade magazine published weekly by McGraw Hill, is the bible of the construction industry, providing news and features about projects, products, and people in construction. Their annual Top 400 list is based on gross revenues for the calendar year, and data is compiled from comprehensive reports submitted by contractors in a nationwide survey. DEW ranked 325 in its first year on the list.

As a group, the Top 400’s revenue was up 8.8 percent from 2010, a step in a positive direction following several years in a recession. DEW’s revenues for 2011 increased more than 100 percent over 2010. Marketing director Andrea Cronan attributes their banner year to several large projects, such as Jay Peak’s Hotel Jay and Waterpark, UVM’s Redstone Lofts apartments, and the Dartmouth Hitchcock Heater Road Medical Office Building in Lebanon, New Hampshire.
