A Case Study that will “Blow You Away!”
The Northern New England Chapter of the Design-Build Institute of America’s New England Region invites you to attend: The University of New Hampshire Turbulence Research Facility Design-Build Case Study and Tour on Thursday, April 21, 2011 from 6:00-8:30 p.m.
Join us for an evening that is sure to “blow you away!” We are pleased to have representatives from the University of New Hampshire and Cutler Associates discuss this unique project, which is the largest wind tunnel of its type in the world. The development of this state-of-the-art facility required an intense collaboration between the UNH research staff and facilities team, designers, and builders through an interactive design-build delivery approach.
This lively presentation will discuss the important role that design-build delivery has played at UNH, and in particular, to this project. DBIA will examine the project goals together with the holistic approach used for programming, design, budgeting, and construction. A tour of the completed facility will conclude the evening.
