Darcy Joins BAGB as Exec. Officer

Boston – Builders Association of Greater Boston is excited to welcome Gerry-Lynn Darcy as an Executive Officer. The Builders Association of Greater Boston (BAGB) is long-standing trade Association affiliated with the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and Home Builders Association of Massachusetts (HBAMA).

The Builders Association of Greater Boston (BAGB) is long-standing trade Association affiliated with the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and Home Builders Association of Massachusetts (HBAMA). The BAGB has evolved into one of the leading trade associations in New England serving small, moderate, and large volume builders and developers who construct single family, multi-family, and commercial properties, and remodeling contractors. Associate members represent property management professionals, sales and marketing firms, realtors, suppliers, architects, engineers, land planners, attorneys, accountants, financial institutions and distributors of construction related materials.

The BAGB consists of professionals that represent a wide cross-section of the homebuilding industry. The Association works with members, associates and consumers to ensure that the highest standards of quality, affordability and efficiency are met. Darcy will focus her seasoned marketing and sales techniques, as well as her direct industry experience in developing business strategies to expand the platform of the Association and increase opportunities for membership.

Darcy has over 16 years of experience in the real estate and construction industry. Most recently, Darcy was the Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at Metric Construction Corporation, where she managed a well-rounded portfolio of real estate projects. Additionally, the Boston Business Journal recognized Darcy as a Top 40 Under 40 honoree in October 2011, which honors the Boston’s best and brightest young professionals who are vital leaders of their respective industries.

As the BAGB’s newest Executive Officer, Darcy will use her experience and relationships with both private and public companies to make a profound impact throughout the Greater Boston region and increase membership. “The Builders Association of Greater Boston is a tremendous resource for both consumers and members,” says Darcy. “I’m excited for the opportunity to lead the Association while continuously building on the network of members and improving the services and opportunities available to them.”

Darcy is a graduate of Wheaton College where she received her Bachelors of Arts in Economics and Management. Darcy has her Real Estate Broker’s license, Construction Supervisor’s license and is a Certified Green Professional (CGP). She is also a member of the Programs Committee and the Housing and Community Development Committee of NEWiRE
