Londonderry, NH – Cornerstone Construction Company of Manchester is partnering with FoodState Nutrients ™ (formerly BioSan Laboratories), maker of the MegaFood line of premium dietary supplements, to expand its New Hampshire manufacturing and warehouse facilities.
“This was an opportunity to work with a local company that is a leader in the nutritional supplement industry,” says Cornerstone President Roland Martin. “They just needed the right partner to make this successful transition, and it’s been a great fit from the very start.”
Working with Stibler Associates of Manchester, NH, Cornerstone was hired to provide an analysis of FoodState’s space requirements and assess whether the company should build, buy, or expand its current locations. Cornerstone subsequently was awarded a design-build contract to renovate and build-out a facility at 11 Delta Drive in Londonderry.
“Roland was an enthusiastic partner, working with us to understand our goals and evaluate options, and ensuring that the project would result in a state-of-the-art facility that will accommodate our immediate needs and future growth,” says FoodState CEO Robert Craven.
FoodState is relocating its current dry manufacturing facility from a Derry location to 11 Delta Drive. Approximately 15,000 square feet of the Delta Drive building was already being used by FoodState as a distribution center and warehouse. Renovation of the building’s remaining 25,000 square feet will accommodate the increased production capacity.
“The first phase of the project included upgrading the new expansion area to GMP and efficiency standards for their distribution and fulfillment process. Now that FoodState has relocated into the expansion space, we’re well underway constructing the new production area,” says Martin.
Completion of the work is expected by early fall.
