Construction Coordinators Receives National Safety Award from AGC America

Needham – Construction Coordinators, Inc. (CCI) recently announced that it received a 2012 National AGC Safety Award (NASA) from the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of America, the association of commercial and institutional builders. One of 17 firms in Massachusetts to receive the award, CCI was honored for its zero incidence rate in 10,000-50,000 work hours in the building division.

One of 17 firms in Massachusetts to receive the award, CCI was honored for its zero incidence rate in 10,000-50,000 work hours in the building division.

“The NASA awards are based on a nationwide program sponsored by the National Safety Association, and this year more than 1,400 AGC-member contractors throughout the country participated,” said Robert Petrucelli, president and CEO of AGC of Massachusetts. “In recent years, standards have become increasingly stringent due to improved safety programs and practices by AGC contractors. AGC of Massachusetts congratulates Construction Coordinators for its diligence in continuing to enhance its safety practices.”

The AGC of America includes 95 chartered chapters and represents nearly 30,000 firms in the construction industry.
