Newton, MA – Commodore Builders, a leading Boston-based recently announced that it is poised to begin Phase One renovations on the Bright Horizons’ HQ facility at 200/400 Talcott Avenue, Watertown. Bright Horizons, the world’s
leading provider of employer-sponsored child care and early education, is redistributing space within departments and redesigning work environments at their headquarters facility.
“Commodore looks forward to building on our relationship with Bright Horizons,” stated Joe Albanese, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Commodore Builders. “We’ve been renovating child care centers from Boston to Stamford and now welcome this opportunity to continue our collaboration at the Watertown headquarters.”
Since 2010, Commodore has completed several projects for Bright Horizons, including renovations of occupied day care facilities in Foxboro, Wayland, Charlestown, Back Bay, Allston and Stamford, CT. Adopting an approach to the HQ project that is similar to the one used for sensitive day care environments, the Commodore team will take special care during
renovations to isolate construction zones from occupied space, minimizing daytime disruption and ensuring safety of the occupants. Preconstruction is now underway and completion of phase one is expected in late 2011.
Commodore is working with CBT Architects, Vanderweil Engineers and Project Manager Jose Luis San Miguel.
