Farmington, CT – Consulting Engineering Services (CES) will be holding their 5th Annual Charity Golf Tournament on Friday, October 8th at the Tunxis Plantation Country Club in Farmington, Connecticut. This tournament will be an 18-hole shotgun start scramble format including various contests with prizes, BBQ lunch, beer, a buffet dinner and raffle including prizes such as a 42” LCD TV and an Apple iPod. This outing benefits the George V. Keithan, Sr. Memorial Scholarship Fund. This scholarship was set up in the memory of the late George V. Keithan, Sr. who was the Father of CES President George Keithan, Jr, corporate photographer for CES and a great friend to everyone who had the pleasure of working with him. This scholarship will help provide financial assistance to graduating seniors from Xavier High School and Mercy High School who wish to attend college to pursue a career in engineering. All proceeds from our annual golf tournament will go to this fund. These schools were chosen as the recipients because a large portion of the Keithan family are either currently attending or are alumni of these schools.
