Boston, MA – CB Richard Ellis/New England (CBRE) announced that the firm received eight Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) awards presented at the organization’s Annual Buildings of the Year and Property Managers of the Year Awards Celebration held in November.
Michael Sherman, Chairman, was presented with the prestigious BOMA Industry Leadership Award. He started his real estate career as a broker for the Codman Company for five years and then went on to head up the marketing and brokerage group for Spaulding & Slye for 17 years. In 1988, Sherman joined Whittier Partners and ultimately became the Chairman of what was to become CBRE/New England.
Shay Sims won the “Property Management Executive of the Year award”.
Dana Warren was presented “The Property Manager of the Year Award in the High Rise Category.” She is a VP and GM for One Boston Place.
Matt Flotta was presented “The Office Building of the Year – Renovated Building Category” for 501 Boylston Street.
Greg Kennedy was presented with “The Office Building of the Year – Suburban Mid Rise Category” for 301-401 Edgewater Drive, Wakefield.
Shawn Carroll was presented with “The Office Building of the Year – Corporate Facility Category” for 50 Milk Street, Boston
Betsy Lynch was presented with “The Office Building of the Year – 100,000-249,000 SF Category” for 745 Atlantic Avenue, Boston.
Shay Sims was presented with “The Office Building of the Year – Medical Office Building Category” for 333 Longwood Avenue, Boston.
