The Connecticut Building Congress and Habitat for Humanity of Greater New Haven will be
hosting the 15th Annual Robert J. LeFloch Memorial Golf Outing at Race Brook Country Club in
Orange, Connecticut, on Tuesday, 21 September 2010.
The proceeds from this event benefit Habitat for Humanity of Greater New Haven and the Connecticut Building Congress ScholarshipFund. Over the past 14 years, this event has raised over $415,000 for these worthwhile charities. The Diamond Sponsor of this event for the third consecutive year is Colony Hardware
Corporation of New Haven, Connecticut.
The outing provides excellent opportunities for networking and exposure in addition to
supporting our worthwhile charities. The attendees are a diverse cross-section of the
construction industry including owners, architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers and service
providers.
Once again, this year’s event will be an 18-hole shotgun and will include various contests, a
barbeque lunch, door prizes, beer and wine and a buffet dinner followed by awards and raffle
prizes.
The outing benefits two deserving organizations. Habitat for Humanity of Greater New Haven
strives to eliminate poverty housing by building new homes and rehabilitating abandoned
tax delinquent properties in partnership with low-income families. The Connecticut Building
Congress Scholarship Fund supports young people in Connecticut who wish to pursue a higher
education related to the building industry. CBC is an organization encompassing owners,
developers, architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers and service providers who meet
monthly to discuss mutual interests and business problems facing the construction industry.
