Bridgewater, MA – Callahan, Inc. Special Projects Division is currently completing
several tenant interior and fitout projects for various owners.
The projects include the following:
Block Engineering, Marlboro, MA: Jones Lang LaSalle awarded Callahan the contract for a
5,000SF buildout of expansion space, with a 2000SF clean room. Callahan worked with the tenant,
Block Engineering, through budgeting / preconstruction and did the design for the space as well. The
project is valued at $176,000.
DTA, Lowell, MA: This is another design build TI project for the Massachusetts Department of
Transitional Assistance. They currently occupy the build. Callahan is performing a build out of
expansion space on the third floor. The project is valued at $203,000 and the landlord is Sagendorf,
Taupier and Assoc.
Cardio Robotics, Raynham, MA: This design-build interior renovation includes lab work for Cardio
Robotics, a company that manufactures robotic arms which perform surgical procedures on patients
with heart arrhythmia. Project value is $360,000.
Skyscape, Marlboro, MA: This is a $127,000 10,000 SF turnkey buildout. Fredley Chitel is the
Architect.
Lombardo’s, Randolph, MA: This recently awarded $700,000 project is in Preconstruction. This is
a 700K modernization project to all the common and function areas of the facility. Scope includes
new flooring, new paint and wall covering, new millwork, and new lighting package which will include
state of the art programmable LED theme lighting.
Fresenius Medical Care, Brockton, MA: This is a $100,000 alteration to an existing & occupied
dialysis center in Brockton. All work performed at night.
Two other recently completed Tenant Interior projects for Boston Properties were Marriott and MIT/
TLO. Both projects were in Cambridge Center.
Marriott was construction of a new egress stair from the second floor ballroom function area to exit
to the street. Work included the cut and patch of the floor and finishes in a fully occupied lobby and
was valued at $241,000. The architect was Elkus Manfredi.
MIT/TLO was a 10,000SF interior tenant buildout on the fifth floor of One Cambridge Center for MIT’s
Technology Licensing Office, who is responsible for the patents and proprietary licensing for all the
concepts and new technology that MIT develops. The project was valued at $360,000 and Visnick &
