Providence, RI – Gilbane Building Company recently announced that Mike Busam will be assuming the role of Business Development Manager in the company’s Providence, RI, district office. In this position, he will focus on working with clients pursuing an array of construction activities throughout the state.
Busam joined Gilbane in 2004 as a member of the company’s management trainee program. Since that time, he has served as an engineer and superintendent on construction projects throughout the New England region, held the position of Quality Manager for the New England Region, and played a critical role in the development of Gilbane’s integrated data systems and iBuild project management system.
In the community, Mike serves as Vice Chairman for Rebuilding Together Providence and Co-Chairman of Canstruction RI. Both are non-profit organizations serving the Providence community. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Brown University and his Master’s in Business Administration from Bryant University.
