Bucey Joins Vanderweil

Boston – Boston-based Vanderweil Engineers announced that Robert Bucey, PE, CEM, LEED AP BD+C, a mechanical engineer with more than 20 years of experience in building systems design and project management, has joined the firm as an associate principal.

Boston – Boston-based Vanderweil Engineers announced that Robert Bucey, PE, CEM, LEED AP BD+C, a mechanical engineer with more than 20 years of experience in building systems design and project management, has joined the firm as an associate principal.
Bucey has an extensive background in engineering for research, healthcare and government facilities, and in the design and implementation of commissioning and energy programs. He has joined Vanderweil’s national commissioning practice and will work from the Boston office.
Bucey previously worked as director of engineering for Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He brings extensive experience in creating workable solutions to correct operational issues. He also has developed programs for commissioning, retro- commissioning, and energy management for large- and small-scale healthcare facilities and other building types.

Other new staff includes Hannah Morrow in marketing and receptionist Amy Nichols. Promotions include Andrea Healy to human resources manager, Zach L’Ecuyer to asst. project manager, Joe Scala to estimator, and Stephanie Toch to estimating administrator. The firm’s Florida office added Cynthia Vanhaerents as its marketing / construction administrator.
