Stoneham, MA – Building Technology Engineers (BTE) has been named 2010 Affiliate Company of the Year by BOMA’s (Building Owners and Managers Association) Boston Chapter as part of the organization’s 2010-2011 Boston Toby & Industry Awards program, which recognizes members for real estate excellence. Additionally, two facilities for which EMCOR provides operations and maintenance services also received awards.

BTE was honored for its continuing and longstanding contributions to BOMA’s Boston chapter. The award citation stated: “BTE is a strong supporter of the BOMA Boston Community. Companies like Jones Lang LaSalle, Colliers Meredith & Grew and many more are proud to use BTE as a service provider. BTE’s very own Regional Director of Asset Services, Tom Coates, serves as the BOMA Boston Engineering Committee Chair and sits on the BOMA Boston Board. BTE as an Affiliate company offers BOMA Boston support on all levels by allowing their employees to volunteer and participate in continuing education and events and through sponsoring many of their programs. BTE is indeed a leading service provider and BOMA Boston’s Affiliate Company of the Year.”
The two facilities for which EMCOR provides operations and maintenance services and that also received awards were:
· Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research, located at 250 Massachusetts Avenue, Boston—recognized in the ”Laboratory Building” category.
· TIAA-CREF, located at 99 High Street, Boston—recognized in the “Renovated Building” category.
