Brookstone Completes NH DOT

Manchester, NH – Brookstone Builders, Inc. recently announced that they have completed a construction project for the State of New Hampshire Dept. of Transportation. This project was funded as part of an ongoing effort to promote the use of public transportation. The scope-of-work involved the construction of a new 1,600 square-foot bus terminal at the NH Park & Ride located on Route 3 at Exit 8 off the Everett Turnpike in Nashua.

The conventional structured-steel facility was outfitted with a brick and anti-graffiti tile exterior and energy-efficient rubber roof, along with marbleized-styled rubber flooring for lasting wear. The interior consists of a ticketing counter and staff office, mechanical and storage rooms, restrooms and a passenger waiting area. An official ribbon-cutting ceremony has been scheduled for later this month.

“The new bus terminal in Nashua is part of a strategic plan for making public transportationa more convenient option for NH residents,” said Paula Scales, Brookstone Builder’s President. “We have enjoyed a healthy business relationship with the Department of Transportation over the years, and look forward to future collaboration.”

David Giovagnoli of Brookstone Builders was the Project Manager.
