BOND Announces Ground Breaking for Lynn Community Health Center Expansion

Governor Deval Patrick, Congressman John Tierney, State Senator Thomas McGee and Mayor Judith Flanagan Kennedy to help kick-off expansion at the groundbreaking ceremony

WHAT: The Lynn Community Health Center will break ground on a 29,300 square-foot construction project, built by BOND, will result in a significant expansion of healthcare services provided throughout the Lynn Community. The facility has seen exponential growth in the number of patient needing services, receiving an average of 400 new patients each month. This expansion will enable the Health Center to expand urgent care, behavioral health, laboratory, and radiology services; hire additional primary care provides; centralize registration to provide more accessible and efficient assistance to patients; and build a second-story shell that will enable future development.
