Brockton, MA – Orlando, AIA, Erin Blackbird and Jennifer Durant. Rogerio Orlando will fill project management roles while Erin Blackbird and Jennifer Durant, both Intern Architects, will provide general project support. Rejoining BKA Architects, Rogerio Orlando, a registered architect with 24 years of experience, will function as project manager on a variety of projects. He is currently involved with several CVS/pharmacy prototype site adaptations within Massachusetts and Connecticut, renovations to the Holiday Inn in Taunton, and the development of Nadia Estates in Foxborough. Rogerio was formerly employed by Elkus Manfredi Architects for 12 years.
Erin Blackbird received her Master of Architecture from Roger Williams University in May 2009. At present, she is providing support to projects in progress for Chipotle Mexican Grill and lululemon athletica. Prior to joining BKA Architects, Erin gained experience working for Gary Moyer, Architect, Andrew Cohen Architects, and Kaestle Boos, Associates.
As a past summer intern, Jennifer Durant rejoins BKA Architects upon the completion of her Master of Architecture from Wentworth Institute of Technology which she received in May 2010. She is presently providing support on various car dealership projects including Toyota of Wellesley, Lundgren Honda and Nissan Village in Attleboro. Prior work experience includes positions with Joslin, Lesser & Associates, Wentworth Institute of Technology, and Urban Revitalizers.
