Beaudry One of Top Young Pros

Boston – Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 4 Business Manager Ray Beaudry is among the winners of Engineering News Record’s (ENR) Top Young Professionals competition in New England. The award celebrates the excellence of young design and construction professionals in the region.
Beaudry, 35, has devoted well over half of his life to the construction industry launching his career in 1992 as a student at the Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School in Charlton. Following his high school graduation, he completed Local 4’s apprenticeship program and has been making history as a labor leader ever since.
Beaudry was elected as a Local 4 Business Development Representative in 2003 at the age of 25.   He rose to the elected position of Business Manager/Financial Secretary just four years later in 2007, a position he continues to hold today. He is also a Trustee for the Local 4 apprenticeship program in West Boylston. He also serves as President of the Worcester/Fitchburg Building Trades Council.
