Boston, MA – The design of a relocated branch in Wellesley Hills for Middlesex Savings Bank has been completed by Margulies Perruzzi Architects.
Completed in June 2012, the new full service location features two teller stations, one managerial office, and one customer service office in 2,200sf, and video displays in lieu of paper throughout the branch.
The relocation provides the bank with the opportunity to re-conceptualize its approach to customer service and use of technology, while maintaining its community-oriented and friendly staff.
Sustainable materials were chosen whenever possible, and windows were added to the exterior to draw in natural light and to give visibility to the customized interior graphics. A mechanical lift was installed for accessibility, and a community wall with photos of Wellesley Hills personalizes the space.
Development Concepts Inc. was the construction manager for the project, and Haynes Management is the property owner of the building.
