120 Kingston St.Breaks Ground – Forest City Developer – Suffolk and Vanderweil Among the Core Team

Boston – Today marked the first day of construction at 120 Kingston St, the former “Dainy Dot” building, in Boston’s historic Chinatown district.

The 26-story, $130 million apartment tower is the first project in Boston for the Brooklyn based developer, Forest City. The building will feature 240 apartments and add about 2,2000 square feet of green space to the edge of the Rose Kennedy Greenway. At the base of the building will be a 5,000-square-foot restaurant/open cafe that will widen the streetscape.
